Another to liven up your website is through popup video, particularly if you produce your own commercials and wish to set up or otherwise utilize a YouTube channel.  Or perhaps there are some other YouTube productions that you wish to highlight.   Placing these on your website allows you to include video content in a much more compact way than embedding videos directly into your web page.   Plus you can post multiple videos in a very small area.
